Garden Cleaning and Shed Removal Tasks
Shane has done an excellent job of cleaning and weeding our garden, making some changes for safety and ease of access, erecting a new shed and leveling both grass and slabs before leaving the area clean and tidy. In addition Shane made several suggestions which made the garden easier to maintain and look better. Although a very hard worker Shane unfortunately was interrupted, or a little late in arriving a couple of times, due to the needs of his family which can't always be avoided. However he just worked longer hours until he caught up with the job. We would happily invite him back as needed.
Remove Gravel and Prepare for Grids
Worked hard and got the job done to quickly. Very pleased
Repair Roof Capping and Clean Gutters
He has good human relationship but can never be trusuted because of inconsistencies in his submissions He has poor quality finish technique. He was tasked to replace old (decayed) roof trusses but he ended by just attaching new trusses to the decayed ones without bothering himself to remove the old ones. He was also tasked to install new fence to rear of property. He installed a fence which was 6 inches shorter than the existing one. I had to call him back to amend such unpardonable craft.
Repair Overflowing Gutter
Shane came to fix the leaking gutters on the 14th of January and was paid. The next day, a video was sent to him that the gutter is still leaking and its now worse. Since then he has either not answered his messages, made 4 appointments to come back to check, which he failed to show up, gave different excuses including having another job, having to be with his family and having to see his sick nan. He has since then not responded to messages, show up or make any attempts to refund if he cannot get the job done. I am highly disappointment as I was told that this platform is a place to get credible and honest tradesmen! This is my first experience here and Its beyond disheartening.
Fix Leaking Gutter Joint
Gutter joint changed but no water test done so will not know if successful until it rains.
Tile Replacement and Soffit Repair
Turned up viewed work required and gave a quote which was satisfactory. Left to fetch materials returned and completed the work required satisfactory. He identified other work and following a quote completed the work. Everything was satisfactory and a good job done. There was no pressure on me and the left over materials were left with me. A good job done.
Fix Dripping Guttering Spot
Lovely young man very polite. Completed job and an extra one. Very reasonable price. Came out very quickly. Highly recommended.
