Kerb Dropping
DO NOT HIRE!!!!!!!!!! I received a quote from Brett for a dropped kerb. He rearranged the date for the work to be carried out several times and still hasn’t done it. He gave me the quote in November 2021 and now in February 2022 the work has not been started. He has given several excuses as to why he couldn’t start. He is now completely ignoring my calls and texts and will not refund my deposit.

Agreed a start date of 13th Dec 2021 with Brett for a job that was anticipated to take upto 5 days. So far, Brett has showed up for 1 day on 14th Dec and 1 hour on 20th Dec. Having taken almost £3K as a deposit, Brett has cited numerous reasons for non completion of the job and failed to show up when promised to do so on many occasions. Brett has neither returned my deposit, despite my request, or completed my job. He last called me on 14th Dec when deposit was taken, preferring to now connect via text msgs when providing a new reason as to why he is unable to complete the job, rather than a courteous phone call, avoiding an honest discussion on the matter. My drive has been left with hardcore on it and looks a mess. This whole episode has affected my health and well-being and I have lost all confidence that he will either return my deposit or that the job will be completed without formal action. Jan 2022
