The painting job was acceptable, but he promised he would do several coatings of paint to stop mould from re-growing again and that would take him about 6 hours and quoted me for £180 . I accepted but the reality he turned up late and finished in less than 3.5 hours. I told him I would pay him by my bank and whether he would send me a proper invoice receipt, he argued that it would cost him 20% vat for the receipt , I told him I would pay him an extra £10 if he send me a proper receipt, he accepted, hence I paid him a total of £190. After that he refused sending me a receipt and only send me a 1 line email saying he did the painting job for £190, With this attitude I do not consider him a professional painter, and not happy with his attitude.

I did a great job and you were very happy when I finished, the payment was agreed upon based on the project itself, not an hourly rate so I didn't matter if I finished sooner or later, you left a bad review out of spite just because I didn't issue an invoice because which I couldn't do until the tax was paid as I had explained, I care about my clients and they usually give me excellent reviews , the price included materials, I spent 69 pounds on materials plus travel and my time bringing the total to 99 pounds, meaning I was left 91 pounds for my work

Fantastic job from start to finish. The garage floor was prepared and painted to a very high standard, with great attention to detail and a professional finish. Communication was excellent throughout, the work was completed on time, and everything was left clean and tidy. I'm really pleased with the result and would happily recommend Robert to anyone. In fact, I'm so impressed with the quality of the work that I've already asked him to come back and paint the rest of my house at a later date.
