We and Idris agreed to a contract to repair our leaking chimney /roof in November 2024. After 6 months of no work and after Idris stopped answering my texts asking when work would be done, I complained to myjobquote. Idris then attended in June 2025 to complete one element of the work which didn’t repair the leak. Then all of summer passed and no more work completed; in November I asked him if he plans on completing the work as we had water coming in still. He would turn up, talk about what needed doing then we wouldn’t see him. He tried to tell us our tyvek was incorrectly installed despite photographic evidence it was in fact installed correctly. He put a sheet over our chimney, promised he would get the work done by Christmas, and by now we had damage in the fireplace and bedroom ceiling from the leak not being repaired and water coming in. He promised he would make this right after fixing the roof leak. Christmas came and went, he didn’t turn up as promised. Didn’t answer my text asking why. I have many many texts over the 13 months where he’s promised to do the work in the next fortnight but it never happened. I’ve asked more than once for our deposit back if he cannot/will not do the work. We’ve decided enough is enough, I complained to myjobquote and sent Idris letters terminating the contract due to his breach, he then texted me in a fortnight ago asking to come and do it…I said enough is enough he has had plenty of time and decent weather to do the work, I want my full deposit back because now we have to find someone reliable to fix the roof and we need to spend money now to fix the internal water damage. He accepted this, said he would sort it out ASAP and I’ve still not received my full deposit back. Very disappointing.

Idris replaced the facia which had been damaged in the recent storm . He also checked my gutters and fixed the damaged ones .All for a very reasonable price . I will use his services again.

Idris’ work was excellent. He worked all day in terrible weather and completed the job to a high standard. He removed all waste from site. I would have rated Idris 5/5 but we had issues with attendance and communication. I’m glad it’s all resolved and the job was completed satisfactorily

Hinges were badly corroded and couldn’t be dismantled. Idris wasn’t fazed by this and had to take an angle grinder to them. New hinges fitted and door now works perfectly. Would highly recommend Idris.

Waiting 4 months for Roberts Group to finish job. Cannot get any explanation from them. No communication. No receipt or invoice for money paid upfront. Where are they?

Idris’s is a really pleasant guy, explain everything he is doing clearly, & asks you for your thoughts on the work done ! A good job, very well done !
