Repair Leaking Guttering on Two Sides
John attended and repaired one corner joint which was dripping a lot after raining - but also said he had to replace part of the guttering as it was short - and eventually completed the job around the front bay window, but it appears that in doing also disturbed other brackets joints which are now leaking that were not before - one of them badly ! Also sealed a bracket on guttering at rear bay window of house on ground level and left, without even testing for leaks ! When it rained 2 days after, I noticed the leaks and messaged him, only for him to say that he had sealed those joints, but I was watching him whilst he did the job and those joints were not sealed - he then said the guttering is old and would need to be replaced, so I replied so is the guttering at the back, and that has held up well after sealing. He asked me to send him a picture of the front so that he could cost the job, which I did, but not heard anything back from him. So I am now having to get another contractor in to fix those leaking joints - not ideal situation as it’s now raining even more. Needless to say that I am very disappointed and won’t be doing any business with him/ his company in the future.
