Summary: Would not recommend - poor customer service - Avoid. I had a new bathroom fitted with Rhys towards the end of April. Initially the service recieved by himself and Luke was efficient and friendly. Unfortunately, the previous bathroom has rotten plasterboard and support beams which we didn’t know about until works started. This resulted in a delay which was solved by a carpenter, suggested by Rhys, who was able to come out and complete the job within 48 hours of finding out it would need to be redone. Total delays were around 72 hours, and with bank holidays the job had entered a new week. By this point, understandably Rhys had another job he needed to attend as it had gone over the scheduled time but he assured he would come in the evenings to finish the fitting. At this point, we were still happy with the service. They finished the main fitting of the bathroom while my partner was home and I was in work. Returning from work, Rhys messaged to ask if I was happy with the bathroom - all that was needing done now was fitting the plinth for the shower that was unable to be completed that day because of a small leak from the day previous where the isolation valve hadn’t been fully turned off. Upon inspection, the brand new radiator had been fitted on an angle and there was a significant pool of water under the shower tray (which ended up being an active leak due to a fitting, completed by Rhys, being too loose). I flagged these concerns with Rhys and from this point my experience was highly negative. I was accused of withholding payment, without being provided an invoice or even asked for to make payment. I was also made to feel guilty for the impact this had on his current job, emphasising that they are very busy and can’t keep coming back to “sort stuff” because of the delay caused by the reboarding - and asking me if I’d rather him lose out on other jobs to finish mine. Rhys had kindly provided recommendations for a tiler and a carpenter, both which I used after getting my own quotes to compare, but at this point, this was held against me as if he’d done me a favour and reminded me I was “using his guys”. At this point I knew I had an active leak, and Rhys reluctantly agreed to come out the next morning to sort it. That morning Rhys confirmed it was a leak from a faulty fitting which he solved and he sorted the radiator for us so it was level - however no apology was given by Rhys and only that he “didn’t realise how bad it was”. So, I would not recommend Rhys purely based on poor customer service. Home renovations are stressful and costly enough that I think the worry that this business may cause during your renovation is best to completely avoid - especially if you’re not sure what to expect from the previous bathroom at your home as a first time buyer.

Rhys arrived on time, got to work as soon as he was able. He did a good job and I was extremely pleased with the result. He was a very nice person, courteous and respected me and my property. I would recommend him

The job was completed to an excellent standard. The team were polite and hard working, leaving the job clean and tidy afterward. Reasonable price and completed in good time !

Excellent professional service for a fair price. Accommodated my availability. Only reason it wasn’t 5/5 was that some water left on bathroom floor and didn’t warn me and I could have slipped. I’d have supplied a cloth if asked. Would use them again if needed.
