Build Base for Summer House
Avoid like the plague!! Luke came and quoted up my job. I wanted a concrete base for a summer house, fencing and a gate. Rang me with the quote quickly which I accepted and booked in. Date came for the job to start and so did a message to say he can’t do it yet. After nearly a week of chasing for a new start date we got one. On the day of the job was due to start I’m told he wants £1000 more than the quote. Demanding I paid this before the work got started. Work got started a day later and materials ran out and I’ve already paid over the price of the quote (and only 3/5 of a base done and no fencing or gate). Luke then decided he no longer wants to do the job. Leaving me with just over half a summer house base and no fencing/gate done and all my money gone. I’ve been left in the lurch, poor communication. Never answers the phone or messages. Took my money and never completed the job. Used my tools without permission ruining them and half my tools are now missing. If anyone wants work doing, save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. He doesn’t know what he’s doing and leaves the job not even half done. Not professional at all.
