Replaced a faulty, flood-damaged PIR sensor for the exterior light, restoring full functionality and security. Drilled a precise waste pipe hole through a cavity brick wall, demonstrating skill and care to avoid unnecessary damage. Installed a downpipe hopper and downpipe to enable proper connection of the new waste pipe, using quality materials for durability. Ran and securely bracketed an external waste pipe (about 2 meters) from the new hole to the hopper, ensuring a tidy and robust installation. Fitted a floor-standing vanity unit with a new sink and tap in room 4, using silicone and gap filler where needed for a professional finish. Connected both hot and cold water pipes to the new tap, ensuring there were no leaks and that water pressure was optimal. Connected the waste pipes from the new sink to the external drainage system, completing the installation to a high standard. The attention to detail was excellent, especially in the application of silicone and the careful alignment of fittings and fixtures. The new vanity unit and sink in room 4 look modern and are perfectly level, with all pipes neatly concealed and sealed. The external pipework is securely mounted and follows a straight, unobtrusive route to the new hopper, which was installed with care to ensure proper drainage. The handyman/plumber was punctual, courteous, and kept the workspace tidy throughout. He communicated clearly about each stage of the job and made sure I was happy with the progress before moving on. Peter is a fantastic specialist - professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and leaves the house clean (uses disposable shoe covers!). He came on Saturday despite absolutely awful weather.
