P&K Painters completed this work in a very safe and timely manner, yet maintained good quality in the job at the same time. We immediately ask for their help with some painting that needed doing also, and that was done to the same standard. P&K Painters is not just for painting jobs. When you need good work being done, they can do that in many different areas

I hired Paul for wallpapering one kitchen wall and some caulking. I paid £500, which is a premium price for this size of job, but I was happy to pay it if the finish matched the cost. Unfortunately, the workmanship was disappointing. After the job, I noticed multiple issues including bubbles, creases, visible seams, edges lifting near the ceiling and sockets, and cracks appearing straight away. The caulking was also uneven, lumpy and already splitting. To make things worse, an alarm sensor that was removed during the job wasn’t reattached. I contacted Paul and he did initially offer to put things right. After I explained that the problems couldn’t be fixed with small patches and that the wall would need redoing properly, he agreed to a 50% refund (£250). He told me he would send it, but despite several polite follow-ups over the next week, I never received the refund and eventually stopped getting replies. It’s a shame because I tried to handle everything calmly and respectfully, and I gave him multiple opportunities to resolve it. I’m leaving this review simply so future customers have a truthful and fair picture based on my experience. I have lots of photos showing the issues with the finish, but the site doesn’t seem to let me upload them.

Paul has been as good as his word and completed the job on time and to the level of quality we were hoping for. Render cracks and damage have been repaired, all paint work looks perfect and he also did a few little extra improvements with no extra charges. The repainting of guttering and downpipes has made them look as good as new. Would highly recommend as our exterior looks better than it has ever looked.
