Max Bedford expressed an interest in the refurbishment of a downstairs toilet which required the removal of washbasin, toilet pan and cistern, followed by half-tiling of the walls and installation of a new clos-=coupled toilet, vanity unit and washbasin and mirror When Max visited to assess the job, he spent 50 minutes thoroughly surveying the location and the possible drainage issues which might be encountered and offering what was clearly knowledgeable advice, so that he was able to propose an expensive option and a more affordable one, but very honestly suggesting that the more affordable one would be perfectly OK. I took him at his word and gave him the job there and then, From his manner and his advice, I was confident that he would do a good job, and he did. He came within a few days, arriving punctually with two colleagues who wasted no time in getting to work. They were pleasant to have about the house, courteous and hardworking, and cleaned up at regular intervals so that no dust or debris transferred to the rest of the house. The finished job was immaculate and completed within the three day time frame that Max had estimated.. I would have no hesitation in employing Max and his team for any future work of the same kind.
