Remove Old Shed and Install New
I chose this company to remove my old shed and supply and install a new 6’ x 8’ pressure-treated shed. Unfortunately, my experience was very stressful. I was initially supplied with a shed with the door in the wrong position compared with what I had requested. To his credit, Jamie agreed to replace it. However, throughout the job I found the communication confusing and inconsistent. I was originally told the shed would be emptied for me, but after paying the deposit I was told this had never been agreed, so I had to clear it myself, injuring my hip in the process. I also made it clear from the outset that I wished to pay by credit card, as I did with the deposit, but at completion I was told to make an immediate bank transfer instead. Although my invoice stated “Payment Terms: 3 Days”, I felt under pressure to pay immediately. There was also confusion over the lock, maintenance advice and guarantees. I had to contact the shed manufacturer myself to obtain information that I felt should have been provided before purchase. The shed has now been installed, but because of the overall experience, the conflicting information and the way I was treated, I cannot recommend this company.

I believe communication with regards to the actual price needs to be improved and a more thorough assessment at the very beginning would have foreseen that the job was bigger and much more expensive than initially anticipated. However Simon, the tradesmen who actually completed the work was excellent so I am able to recommend this company.
J.smith & son roofing & building LtdHi thanks for your review we did actually fully explain the job in hand how were we to know that upon lifting your old slabs that they would laid on top of just earth So we then had to re quote the job and explained in the contracts sorry you fell this way regards
