Rubbish Clearance with Van Required
Jamie and his partner were excellent. They arrived in record time and cleared a huge amount of rubble in no time. The job was bigger than he quoted for but he still came back to finish the job. Very cheerful and friendly too!
Repair Hanging Fascia Board
JK were quick off the mark by phone - perhaps too quick, so others didn't have a chance to quote. But I agreed as they could arrive in 20 minutes - great - and they fixed a fascia board in 10 minutes for £50. OK, I then asked them to look at my second job - replace one garden fence panel. Quoted £140 which seemed ok as this included the cost of a new panel and its transportation. On completion I then got talked into fixing another fence panel which was beginning to slip out of the concrete column support for an additional £50. More fool me, for after accepting the quote, I saw the task was completed in less than 5 minutes. However - I got the main jobs done within the day which was a result - so no complaints. But what have I learnt? 1 Don't accept the first telephone call. 2 Wait for a written quote from all. 3 Do more homework eg how legit is the company? Will there be an invoice/VAT or just a fly-by-night cash in hand?

They charged to much for a job that only took an hour (£400) The roof is still leaking badly!!
