Fit Internal Doors to Existing Frames
I had been quoted to fit 3 internal doors, 2 men arrived. They took over 9 hours to fit a glass door. Whilst one man was courteous the other kept complaining in his language which he probably did not realise I understood as it was taking longer than he anticipated he told the other guy “let’s just go I’m tired” however the second guy replied “no I feel bad” this guy did also apologise for the time and mentioned he was embarrassed it took him so long. I was understanding and said it’s fine. It’s was almost 7pm by the time they were about to start on the 2nd and 3rd door when they mentioned I ordered the wrong size door. As I needed to reorder the door in the correct size I asked if they want and can do the job for next week or if I should look for someone else. They assured me they want the job and that they were capable. The guy even messaged to see if door arrived I said it arrived on Monday and he confirmed he would come on Friday at 11am. Comes Friday he send a voice note to say that he can not come and will try later on in the day or next Friday. I voiced my frustration whilst I understand life happens but it’s taking me over 3 weeks to get doors fitted which is a simple task for someone with the correct skill set.
Jb builderI made mistake to take this job. But my profession tell me to be professional and take care customer satisfaction. I went to the property to see the job first , there 3 door one is glass door which it wasn’t mentioned in the job lead. When I visit the property I saw the glass door box was open , someone maybe reject job when they see the glass door because glass door and normal door price is different . The door frame was nighttime, it was angle on top good few layers of paint . It took me a day to send it like she mentioned I work 9hrs. She even telling you must be regretting by taking this I said yes I am. Because she didn’t mention there is a glass door. The I can’t even cut from the side only up or down I can trim that’s why it took me all day. She was right I said I’m gonna do the rest of the doors but my brother fall ill and I had to stay with him in the hospital I told her that I can do it next Friday. I explained to her the situation but she didn’t understand she was threatening me that she will give me bad review this and that , I told her nothing is impotent more then my family. For me family comes first. That job was total loss for me. Still I wanted to finish the job. But she didn’t have the moral understanding that’s why I couldn’t do it. She is right she understood everything what we was talking . I know she’s understanding everything because where she is from im from same country but she was pretending she is from some other country.. how shameful is that. I know I’m responding to the review after long time because I didn’t see it before as I’m busy with so many jobs. I would like to tell her that what ever job you post please mention everything properly do not hide anything just get good price.
