Reseal Two Windows to Prevent Damp
I recently hired Harvey to re-seal two windows, initially Harvey was very polite, confident and seemed to know how to remedy my leaky window issue but ultimately the results were very disappointing. The work was significantly over-priced for what was delivered and, despite the job being described as a re-seal, it ultimately failed. The sealant never set and the following morning my windows were left covered in a white sludge residue, which I then had to clean up myself and in turn removed the work that had been completed. So back to square one. I contacted Harvey to raise this issue and I also provided detailed videos of the issue. I was respectful with my communication and asked for it to be resolved or to be reimbursed with half of the money I paid (after I considered cost for materials, fuel and 40 mins of his time) which I thought was reasonable, but I was ignored and received no response. Overall, the work did not achieve its purpose, and probably requires specialist attention. The after-service was non-existent. I would definitely not recommend Harvey based on this experience.
