Washing Machine Installation
Crap was late for job. When they left my washing machine was flooding my floor tried to contact them were supposed to come out the day after didn't arrive so tried to contact again and no reply phoned and no answer left messages no reply
Handy Team LtdHi Karen, In regards to this task. The guys come and installed 1 washing machine and this did not works. The washing machine was not draining and due to this the guys offered to maybe fit a different one which they did. After they fit this the older washing machine had a leak. This is not due to our work. My Guys were as helpful as possible and even suggested you maybe able to activate the warranty on the first washing machine they tried to install. It would help if appliances were looked after in a better manor instead of having half drums full of washing which was sitting there for maybe 2-3 months. Thanks, Kye

Handy Team Ltd arrived on time, completed the job discussed to my expectation and satisfaction and once inspected the money originally quoted was transferred. Would recommend.

Kitchen drawer repair
They quoted £60 to come and fix the draw which involved putting in 4 new screws. The workman said that the others were loose and he would put new screws in. He was here for 45 mins in total. At no time did they mention an extra charge. When booking in the job I reasonably thought that they were £60 an hour which is what I have been quoted by other companies. They have billed me for £432 fir 45 minutes work.
Wardrobe Assembly
Not impressed! The wardrobe was erected in a good time but unfortunately not 100% accurately as slightly wonky, central panel installed upside down meaning we are unable to adjust the hanging rail, a folded up section of cardboard box left between wardrobe and wall (to square up the wardrobe?)and cheap unsightly shelving brackets attached to wall for which an extra charge of £50 added which wasn’t communicated or quoted, verbally or in writing. Full quoted price was still paid on time and Handy Team asked to collect the brackets however response was the brackets were necessary (for a stand alone wardrobe) and threatened to add £10 / day late payment fee if we did not pay.

The job was completed to my satisfaction and at time stated.
Appliances
Whilst they completed the job that was requested off them, and my complaint is not to do with the workman themselves, they have added hidden charges to the end invoice, which at no point was mentioned in any type of communication that occurred. A verbal additional charge was requested, on the job, which was honoured, however, adding 2 x cancellation charges and then a further door removal charge without pointing it out, is not acceptable. Further, then threatening with late payment charges if not paid on the same day is totally unprofessional. Even tried to increase the price after verbally quoting a lower price! This is not good practise, and I may need to report to Trading Standards as well. When you click on the website for the T&C's, it doesn't go anywhere, so you can't even get a fair opportunity to review. Definetely will not recommend to anyone, as they seem to try to add charges.
