General Maintenance
These inexperienced handymen, came to put a door in a shed and do a gate for my elderly parents. Which was charged at £400 for labour and equipment. £200 of this was for equipment. The shed lock, isn’t straight and the wood they screwed it into at the back, they missed the wood for the top screws so barely attached. The new gate has been attached to the old gate post, which is rotting. They did not measure the new gate properly, so the gate now can’t go past hand rails to back of wall. The gate is so heavy my parents can’t open it, and scrapes on the floor. The screws are coming out of the hinges of the gate and they only put nails at either side of the cross beam to secure it. They had not finished the job, they told my parents they would come back the next day to finish it, but required payment that day. My parents paid them, these unskilled handymen have not been seen since. My 10 year old son could have done better, do not give your money to them! I have photos happy to share
