Combi Boiler Service & Safety Check
They told us the work was completed, but after they left, we couldn’t get any hot water. I messaged them on WhatsApp, and they instructed me to turn on the gas pipe myself. Because they had turned off the gas supply to the boiler, we had no hot water, and none of the radiators were working. They refused to come back to fix the issue, even though an elderly woman lives with us in the property, and it was a freezing cold night. After I turned on the gas supply to the boiler, we finally had hot water, but the radiators were still cold. I called and messaged them again, but they said they would call me the next day. Until now, they haven’t called or messaged me back. I paid £75 for this unacceptable job. Fortunately, someone from the neighbourhood helped us repair the heating system later that cold night.

This certainly isn’t the level of service we aim to provide. To clarify, the booking was for a boiler service and gas safety check, not for diagnosing or repairing any existing heating issues. The appointment took place on a Sunday, outside normal working hours, and no call-out fee was applied. As part of the safety process, the gas supply was turned off temporarily — this is standard practice during such checks to ensure everything is operating safely. We’re sorry if there was any misunderstanding regarding the gas supply and follow-up communication. Your feedback is important to us, and we’ll review this internally to prevent similar situations in the future.
