I hired this company to carry out PREP WORK and painting in my hallway, landing, and bathroom. The key thing here is that I specifically paid for prep work because the wooden surfaces had varnish on them and needed to be properly sanded before painting ( I even provided a sander and sheets). That clearly was not done. I’ve now come back from Vienna and, not even two months later, the paint is already peeling from multiple wooden surfaces around my house. The window ledges are peeling, the door frames are peeling, and the paint on the stairs is literally coming off onto my hands. The walls seem fine, but every area that required proper preparation has failed. This is exactly what happens when surfaces are not prepped correctly before painting. What makes this more frustrating is that I paid good money expecting a professional finish. Instead, I’ve had to scrape paint off my flooring because the floors were not properly protected during the work. There are also visible patches and missed areas on the door frames where white still shows through in corners. At this point, it honestly looks rushed. The job feels like the goal was to get in, paint quickly, collect payment and leave. I can accept imperfections. What I cannot accept is paying for prep work that was never properly carried out, only for the paint to start failing almost immediately afterwards. Another issue that left a bad impression was the attempt to pack up and take my paintbrushes and materials at the end. I specifically told them that I would be using the materials and equipment for the rest of my property when I have the time, so why was half my brush collection packed away in your van and I only got half back. Make it make sense. Would I recommend this company? Absolutely not. If you are paying for proper preparation work and a professional finish, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. Its infuriating because I just haven't had the time to decorate myself due to studies but I would have been better off just waiting and doing the job myself.
