Had this company to resurface my shed/ summerhouse roof with rubber. all was ok until about 10 days later when we had a storm, the edges of the roof were flapping up and the underneath was very wet . Phoned the owner who was rude and said the earliest he could call me out was the tuesday I explained that the wind was getting stronger over the weekend and was told to put something on it. Sunday morning the gutter had blown off phoned him again and once again said he would be there on the tuesday, explained that i was worried the contents of the shed would get damaged. A neighbour had to nail along the rubber underneath for the time being. Arrived tuesday as planned and my husband pointed out the areas we were unhappy with.As well as this the rubber on the other side was to long and going over the guttering so serving no purposes. He cut it to short on his return and we had my neighbour put things right and finished off the work. When we said about the guttering coming off he said ‘take it up with the manufacturer’ as he had fitted them correctly. In the message said he would come back and remove the rubber roof and pay back the money. By this point i did not want him coming back i have spoken to my job quote and provided them with pictures. this man also had the nerve to message my husband saying’that he does not know how he puts up with my nagging . I payed £750 for a job which i feel was not up to standard so i had every right to complain. we were going to have more work done so lucky escape for us.
