Repair Leak from Bath to Floor Below
Deceptive. The job he told me he was going to do, he said he would need to remove the bath, he did not remove the bath. To make the matter worse, after the repair, the water takes for ever to leave the bath after showering, the leakage has not stopped. the leakage is coming from the same place as before I got in touch with him 3 days ago to inform him that the leakage is now worse than before he carried out the repair, he has not responded. I will not recommend Corby's Handyman servicss to anyone. I am now in a process of looking for a competent plumber to carry out the repair for me. £280 has just gone down the drain

When I attended the job, I was still in the process of completing the repair when concerns were raised via a phone call, which made communication difficult as instructions were being discussed while the work was ongoing. Despite this, I continued and completed the agreed work. You were clearly advised not to use the bath for 24 hours to allow everything to set properly. However, I was contacted shortly after leaving to say there was still a leak, and it appeared the bath had been used and cleaned immediately, which can affect the repair. I returned promptly to inspect the issue and identified a separate problem with a waste pipe below the floorboards, which was not part of the original job. This was repaired. It’s also important to note that while I was working, there was interference with pipework under the bath, which can impact the effectiveness of any repair carried out. Following this, there was a dispute regarding pricing after the work had been completed. As a gesture of goodwill, I reduced the agreed cost, although this was still not accepted. I always aim to provide honest and reliable service and to resolve any issues when they arise, as demonstrated by my return visit and additional repair. I wish you all the best in resolving any further issues.
