Paint Small 2 Bed House Interior
I hired Buildscope to do some painting work on my rental property which they started within a week. They did everything except the bathroom as I had asked them to put a shower in for me first as a separate job. They were paid in full for the paint work. Then problems started. They charged me 2 days of work for a 1 day job for the shower, and left rubbish everywhere. They never came back to finish painting the bathroom, or clear their mess. When I asked for a return of funds for the incomplete work, the owner said he would but kept making excuses and then blocked my number. AVOID AT ALL COST.
BuildscopeWe’re sorry to hear that you feel unhappy with your experience and would like to clarify a few points for accuracy. The original painting works were completed as agreed and paid for in full. The bathroom shower installation was an additional job requested separately during the project and was not part of the original scope of works. We did advise that we were willing to return to complete the remaining bathroom painting once the shower installation had settled. We made efforts to arrange a return date, however we were unable to mutually agree on a suitable time. As a busy company with prior commitments, this did make scheduling difficult, particularly when specific dates were being dictated rather than discussed flexibly. We’re disappointed that matters escalated in this way, as our intention was always to return and resolve the outstanding items. To date, you are the only client who has raised a complaint of this nature, and we take pride in the standard of work we deliver. If you would like us to carry out any further works, we do have availability in March and would be happy to discuss this. Kind regards Buildscope
