02/04 - Chris came, we agreed price for lawn and patio work. Hesitantly i made payment for materials. Promised to commence work on 6th and take 2-3 days. Also offered a pressure washer he would drop off next day so I can clean existing patio. That never happened with not being available to do it 3rd, 4th. 05/04 - contacted him about maybe extra work with sleepers, wanted more money for materials - decided against the idea myself 06/04 - said at yard in morning to pick up materials, hour later sorry yard not ready till afternoon so can start job next day now 07/04 - text to say "loading van", next it was "going from Walsall to Wednesbury to pick up slabs" stuck in traffic Next had to drop one of the lads off his nan serious, promised to do the work by Friday 9th 08/04 - promised two lasds be there to dig, no one came, skip on way, lads on way - nothing happened 3 of my days wasted so I ask for refund and he said 3-5 days to re-run materials back. He said he was sick and he would do the job, in bed with food poisoning. 09/04 - my final choice work to be done by 13th or a refund by end of 13th 11/04 - Be it sunday I send text to see if work will be start Mon 12th - text not delivered. I hope I am wrong but this all feels like a fiddle now. Paying off others (like last reviewer with my money). If I am wrong (and I like to trust people) I will sincerely apologize but the way things have gone I feel something is not right. And I will not wait to escalate things further. But at moment I have lost all confidence.

Be very wary of hiring Chris. He is dishonest and unreliable, and I have spent the last nine months trying to get a refund from him. I hired Chris last July to move my garden shed and extend my patio, paying him half of his fee up front. On the day he was due to arrive, he claimed that his van had broken down and had gone to Coventry to be fixed. He said all of the materials for my job were in the van, and he didn’t have money to buy more, so needed more money from me to cover the cost of new materials. I foolishly gave him more money. The following day, despite repeated attempts to contact him via various methods, I heard nothing from him and he did not turn up. He eventually got in touch at 6pm that day, offering to come to do the work in a few days time, but by this point I had lost trust in him, and asked to cancel the job and get a refund. He agreed to this and said he would pay me back in a few days. Since then I have tried with limited success to get the money back from him. During this time I have been lied to on multiple occasions, been given multiple deadlines which have come and gone, and I have taken Chris to small claims court, obtaining a court order for the money. Late last year we agreed on a payment plan, where Chris would make monthly repayments. So far every month has been late, and I have had to constantly chase him. It has been absolutely infuriating and has had a negative impact on my mental health. I would not recommend hiring Chris, and if you do, under no circumstances should you give him any money in advance.

Amazing is an understatement. Chris and one other worker came, done the job, cleaned up and left. They turned a jungle into a place of tranquility and paradise. Will definitely recommend and will most definitely be calling Chris for any future work

The work carried out was very good and Chris was polite and efficient. My only little criticism was it was agreed the soil and turf would be taken away but I found it after in my garden bin. However would definitely recommend! Sukhy :)

they were friendly with plenty of ideas to work with and within a budget i could work with. they were friendly professional and left no mess behind and did the job at a fast pace i am very happy with the results.
