Was contacted by “Bainesyworks” who saw my need for the outside of a house to be repainted. Met “Bainesyworks” who gave me a price of £550.00 plus materials. This I accepted and he did the work. On the day he finished he asked if I could pay his bill as due to the pandemic money was tight. The bill was £695.00 and he gave me the bank details on a piece of paper and he assured me he would supply me with paperwork for my accountant as the work was Tax Deductable. I paid his bill the same day and despite sending 5 x texts asking for the paperwork, I was given the excuses, twice that he would drop it off tomorrow, then an excuse of he was working out of town and would drop it off later that week when back in town still no paperwork. The final two texts were ignored and not replied to and I still have no paperwork for my accountant and I will now have to do a statement to explain that I have no Bill or Receipt. Any one employing “Bainesyworks” should ensure that they get a Bill or Receipt before paying him. I cannot see me every recommending him or using him again due to the above situation.
