    Conservatory Addition to Bungalow

When Andy first turned up to discuss the job which was a conservatory in brick with solid roof with skylights approx 5M x 2M, he came over very polite and seemed to be knowledgeable of what my requirements are, and with them being a family business I decided to award him the job. When they first started the job the brickie who Andy got in for the job, he was absolutely brilliant, and did a very good job of digging the footings and brickwork assisted by Andy who was basically borrowing the earth etc to the skip 5 days per week. But when the brickie had finished his part and left that's when it all started to go down hill. Andy had told me after the brickwork was done his lads and himself would be in and get the roof on and get it all sorted fairly quick. When they finally turned up with the roof section and put them in place, the roof was leaking in several places and had to come back 6 times. But they would turn up and do probably a full day to get the roof on, and then it seemed to be Andy doing little sort of jobs and only stay for a few hours and then disappear. He sent a plasterer to board out the conservatory, so I showed him the job, and he had several parts that were not finished by Andy and his sons and had reservations in doing the job but wanted Andy to meet to discuss the job. So when Andy and the plasterer had discussed the problems that is when Andy walked off the job even though he had been paid the full amount. So from start to when he walked off the job it was 4 month and It'still not finished. I have tried several times to contact him to discuss a way forward and no reply, so now have to contract another company to finish Andy's mess.
