Replace Faulty Washing Machine Pump
Comms good, tradesman advised would be late due to hospital appointment. The initial quote was a little higher than expected, but as job posting we were expecting work to include inspecting the water pump motor and either cleaning any obstruction or replacing the part and that required some knowhow and skill. However, the issue wasn't complex. It was simply a case that the drain hose was blocked a few inches from the end, and after tapping, the gunk came out. Tested by starting the machine on drain/spin, and it drained water successfully. Due to the quick fix, the tradesman, after some consideration, discounted the initial quote.
