He was rude and didn’t inform me before he came out that he was charging me £80 for a call out fee! He told me he would drop the price if I paid cash. He then agreed to do half of the job for £160 cash!

I do find it surprising that this is the only 1-star review I have received, particularly as I have never previously been described as rude during my career. My customers consistently provide positive feedback about both my workmanship and professionalism. During our interaction, I felt that I was spoken to in a rude and aggressive manner, including the use of inappropriate language. Despite this, I remained professional and respectful throughout and completed the agreed work to a high standard. I also had a pleasant conversation with your wife regarding potential future work on the radiator, and we discussed pricing for this. Given those discussions, it appeared that you were satisfied with both the work carried out and the service provided. We completed the agreed work, shook hands, and parted on good terms. For that reason, I was disappointed to receive a 1-star review containing comments that I do not believe accurately reflect what took place. While I fully respect every customer’s right to leave feedback, I feel this review is unfair and does not present a balanced account of the situation. I also attempted to contact you directly to discuss your concerns and see if we could resolve the matter. Unfortunately, the conversation was not productive and the call ended abruptly. I take great pride in my work, my reputation, and the service I provide to my customers.
