Painting and decorating have always been more than a job for me — they are part of who I am. Growing up in Thessaloniki, I watched my father and brother transform walls and rooms with skill and care, and from an early age I knew I wanted to follow in their footsteps. Today, here in the UK, I’ve spent years honing that craft, turning homes and businesses into spaces people love.
Colour Drops was born from the rainy skies of London, a vision of bringing colour and light into homes. I personally guide each project so rooms feel bright, inviting, and full of life.
I approach each project with care, precision, and a personal touch — because a home or workplace is more than just walls; it’s where life happens. Interior Painting & Minor Repairs
Al did a fantastic job painting multiple rooms throughout our property, including two bedrooms, the stairwell, hallway, and landing. The finish is smooth and even throughout, with clean edges around skirting boards, door frames, and window sills. The bedroom feature wall (the lavender chimney breast against the grey) looks particularly sharp — great colour coordination and neat cutting-in. The stairwell was clearly a tricky space given how narrow and steep it is, but Al handled it well with no visible drips or missed spots. All the woodwork and trim look crisp. Very pleased with the quality and would happily recommend. The pricing was extremely fair and competitive.

Paint Internal Walls and Ceilings
Absolutely fantastic job done, Al is flexible, reliable, and goes the extra mile. He takes pride in not just doing a painting and decorating job, but in making a room much better, cleaner, and fresher than he found including undertaking small repairs where needed to make something really perfect. I really cannot recommend Al's work highly enough!

Hallway Painting and Decorating
Al did an absolutely amazing job on my poor 'old tired Hallway'. It was in need of a complete overhaul after many years of neglect and heavy children traffic. Al helped me choose the best colours and offered very helpful advice allowing me to determine my preferences. He was also able to dismantle an eyesore of a water cylinder cabinet before transforming the hallway. He always left the hall clean and tidy at end of day and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as a professional painter who took great delight in his job. And as a bonus he was a very pleasant guy.

I am so happy with the service Al provided. He advised me on which paint to buy as well as which colours would work best. He was tidy, clean and had really attention to detail. He took so much care over his work and the final outcome looks amazing. Would 10/10 recommend.

Townhouse Hallway Painting & Repairs
Alkene responded quickly, with background of his work, his ethos and he delivered, I posted this Job 10 days ago, My hallway is transformed, Alket was patient in guiding me through options of colour when I couldn't make up my mind. The job was bigger than I stated as I had glitter on the walls, more holes than I realised when things were moved and Alket restored my handrails back to wood. Even although this made extra work, Alket kept to the quote he gave. He was professional, very tidy and very trustworthy. Will definitely be having more work done and would recommend him for any decorating needs.

Kitchen & Bathroom Ceiling Painting
Alket did a fantastic job of transforming our kitchen and bathroom. He worked tirelessly on Saturday and Sunday to finish the job on time for us. The walls were in very poor condition due to damp issues but he spent all day prepping them and used top quality products. After 2 days the place looked brand new!! Such a lovely guy too - would highly recommend and hoping to use again next time we need any painting and decorating work! Thank you Al

Damproof & Repaint Bathroom Ceiling
This was a small job to renovate a bathroom ceiling and Al travelled some distance to do it for us. So glad he did. What a great guy! Work was done really efficiently to a high standard and he cleaned everything up afterwards. Couldn’t fault him and would definitely use again 😀
