Painting and decorating have always been more than a job for me — they are part of who I am. Growing up in Thessaloniki, I watched my father and brother transform walls and rooms with skill and care, and from an early age I knew I wanted to follow in their footsteps. Today, here in the UK, I’ve spent years honing that craft, turning homes and businesses into spaces people love.
Colour Drops was born from the rainy skies of London, a vision of bringing colour and light into homes. I personally guide each project so rooms feel bright, inviting, and full of life.
I approach each project with care, precision, and a personal touch — because a home or workplace is more than just walls; it’s where life happens. I combine skill, creativity, and professionalism to transform spaces into places people love, ensuring every client feels heard, valued, and thrilled with the result.

I could not be happier. Alket was a dream to have in my home. He was so polite and respectful, thoughtful and diligent. The work is simply outstanding. I am delighted. He worked alone, and worked very hard from 8am to 4:30 pm everyday, he cleaned up after himself thoroughly, he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and guided me when I needed help making decisions on colours and design. It felt like he was decorating his own home as he really genuinely cared about how the project came along. I felt super confident as a lone female having him in my home, I felt very secure leaving him alone while I worked elsewhere or even went out. I love my home now, it's like a new place. And Al' took such pride and care I think he loved it too. I absolutely recommend him and his work and will without hesitation use Alkets Colour Drops again. Thank you for bringing him to me.

Bedroom Paint and Wallpaper Job
Absolutely brilliant and professional job from Al. He is very friendly and helpful in quoting the work, and assisted us immensely in adjusting the quote to include other tid-bits we needed doing. His finish was very professional, and even went over and above to revisit when (completely our fault) we didn't have enough wallpaper! I highly recommend him, and will be using him for all of our decorating jobs in the future! Thanks again Al!

Al did a great job, advising but not overstepping. He was pleasant, and a fast worker with attention to detail. Really impressed with his communication and work ethic. I’d definitely ask him to do more more when the time comes.

Interior Painting & Minor Repairs
Al did a fantastic job painting multiple rooms throughout our property, including two bedrooms, the stairwell, hallway, and landing. The finish is smooth and even throughout, with clean edges around skirting boards, door frames, and window sills. The bedroom feature wall (the lavender chimney breast against the grey) looks particularly sharp — great colour coordination and neat cutting-in. The stairwell was clearly a tricky space given how narrow and steep it is, but Al handled it well with no visible drips or missed spots. All the woodwork and trim look crisp. Very pleased with the quality and would happily recommend. The pricing was extremely fair and competitive.

Paint Internal Walls and Ceilings
Absolutely fantastic job done, Al is flexible, reliable, and goes the extra mile. He takes pride in not just doing a painting and decorating job, but in making a room much better, cleaner, and fresher than he found including undertaking small repairs where needed to make something really perfect. I really cannot recommend Al's work highly enough!
