Unacceptable. Absolutely terrible. Alex came here to fit some Vinyl and some Carpet. Both of which were unfinished. There was a couple of inches of vinyl hanging under one if the doors upstairs. One of the top steps was left uncarpeted despite there being meters of carpet left. The carpet on the steps that were carpeted came straight up as soon as I tried to hoover them for the first time as he said he had “run out of grippers”. The carpet on the two of the stairs is about a 1cm away from the side/skirting board so looks absolutely awful. No underlay under the bottom step despite there being meters upon meters of extra underlay left. How anybody can do a job like this and then have the nerve to takes someone’s money is beyond me. I contacted Alex and raised all these issues with him to which he said “I’ll come around on Tuesday at 9am to sort the issues”. He never showed up. So I gave him another weeks grace incase he meant the following Tuesday. He never showed up again. Now he won’t return my calls or respond to my e-mails. Disgusting.
