The job that should have taken 2 weeks took almost 4. I am out of pocket by £450 as had to pay 2 extra weeks rent to old property before we could move everything in because they took so long. They are messy and we have still not received electrical safety certificate

Avoid this company at all costs. I hired 247 EFS to carry out a full house rewire for £4,000. I have already paid £3,500, yet the work was never completed. From the beginning, the project was full of delays and broken promises. What was supposed to take just a few days dragged on for weeks. They repeatedly failed to turn up when agreed, cancelled at the last minute, and constantly gave excuses. On one occasion they promised to come on Friday. After waiting all day, they stopped answering my calls. Later they answered my wife’s phone because they didn’t recognise the number and claimed they were in Warrington and would be with us shortly. They never arrived and eventually switched their phone off. The following week they messaged saying they would come on Monday morning, but once again they failed to show up and then stopped answering my calls and messages completely. What shocked me the most was the complete lack of care for safety. They left the consumer unit completely open and accessible, despite knowing I have young children and dogs living in the house. They also left electrical cables sticking out of walls, unfinished wiring throughout the property, and left the installation in an unsafe state while they simply disappeared. After weeks of waiting, I had no choice but to hire a different electrician. He identified multiple issues with the installation, including that the consumer unit they installed is too small for the number of circuits required and now has to be replaced before the installation can be completed properly. I am now paying another electrician to correct and finish work that should have been completed by 247 EFS. Throughout the project, communication was appalling. They ignored countless phone calls and messages, failed to keep their promises, and abandoned the job after receiving the vast majority of the payment. Being ignored after paying £3,500 for an incomplete rewire is completely unacceptable. This experience has cost me additional money, weeks of delays, and an enormous amount of unnecessary stress. I would never recommend 247 EFS to anyone. If you value your time, your money, and your family’s safety, choose a different electrician.

I had a burning smell coming from my fuse box, Mike was quick to reply and came within 30min. He made the box safe and at my request was able to come the next day to replace the box and make safe. The price charged for the service was fair and reasonable, would be happy to use again 👍🏻

Had some issues with overload & some damaged wiring. Came out on time on day of work and was completed that day. Was explanatory throughout explaining the work that was being done. Called the next day to check all in order. Highly Recommend
