I’m 38 I started carpet fitting at 16 with my uncle who is a professional at his job,
He’s done famous singer’s like Mick jagger,
He also doesn’t cap and band his bottom step he sews it the old school way,
So I was lucky to be taught by someone with lots of knowledge and now I have got into tilling ceramic floors and also have pictures of my work.

Laminate Flooring for Hallway & Bathroom
Hussain did some work for us, and to his credit managed to fit us in just before Christmas, on the 23rd December 2025. He fitted underlay and laminate in a small hallway and bathroom. There were a lot of issues or unfinished aspects of the job, which we discussed over the phone and he agreed to come back after Christmas to put them right. These issues were: 1. Huge scratches and scuffs on the laminate he installed 2. He managed to bend a water pipe in the bathroom resulting in a leak & removed our sink pedestal without fitting it back in (this was because he didn't cut around the pedestal resulting in the pedestal being 13mm higher and wouldn't fit around the sink, he then tried to force it back under the sink which resulted in scratches and damages on the floor, and the pipes coming away from the sink basin, causing a leak. He tried to improperly repair the leak by covering the pipe with silicone, however water in the system pushed through this and required a plumber to come out and reinstall sink components) 3. A totally uninstalled tile just resting behind the toilet 4. Ruined door frames where he had cut them too high and uneven to fit the laminate in 5. Creaking laminate where it wasn't installed properly with sufficient underlay which he blamed on an uneven floor, however the previous laminate did not creak. We agreed on a date when he could come to fix the issues, which he later delayed as he had taken on other jobs. He then agreed to refund us partial installation costs so we could get another contractor in to fix his mistakes. We have yet to receive this money from him, well over a month after we raised the issues, as he has made continual excuses for not sending it.
TJ Luxe Flooring & TilesI'm sorry but I don't treat my customers like this or any of my jobs there was no mention to me of bad doors your husband was happy checked the job over and paid for the job so as far as I was aware everyone was happy with the job, the issues you wasn't happy with I was happy to rectify but you wanted cash back wich i was happy to do but my work phone got lost over Christmas which means I lost all contacts including yours which this Is why there was delay in your refund. And also you were sending threatening messages saying were going to leave a bad review but quiet happily not to if you received £100 so my work can't be that bad.
