Hi there. After two house renovations and over twenty years of DIY, I set up my company The Handy Dan in 2024. I’m able to complete a number of day to day tasks to make your life easier as well as bigger jobs such as building decks, patios and painting & decorating. I tend to work within 30 miles of Carlisle and hold full public liability insurance. Whatever the job, I’ll provide a professional, friendly and reliable service to get the job done to the highest standard.

Dan built some really sturdy bespoke floor to ceiling wood cabinets in the alcoves of my playroom, with adjustable shelves and doors and painted them. They look fantastic and the paint job has stayed. I was really impressed with his workmanship and he was very fair with his quotes. He even tidied up afterwards. Ive had so many compliments on them and would highly recommend him. Hes very professional, thorough and honest.
