Absolutely terrible experience. We agreed a date for him to fit my carpets, and everything was confirmed. Then, the day before the job, he messaged saying the carpet hadn't been delivered so he couldn't do the work. I accepted that and rearranged for the following week. On the new agreed date, he simply never turned up. I tried calling him several times and sent messages, but he ignored everything. No phone call, no message, no apology—nothing. I had taken time off and planned everything around this fitting, so being let down like this caused me a lot of stress and left me in a really difficult situation. It's not just about cancelling a job, it's the complete lack of communication and respect for other people's time. I would definitely not recommend this carpet fitter. If you need someone reliable who keeps their word, look elsewhere. Based on my experience, I wouldn't trust him with any job.
