Full Bungalow Painting and Wallpapering
Exremiley poor decorator did,nt complete the work and only worked part days, he had the house to him self no furniture to move and yet it still took over a week and he still did,nt complete, He didnt mask out windows fames, only part painted skirting and doors, poorly emulsions walls, always had an exscuse to why it was so poor, we couldnt wait any longer and paid him off and completed the work our selfs, it cost over £1500-00 and he told us we were getting a bargin, not from him we did,nt, I would strongly recommended nerver use this semi sklled Jack of all trades.

Squires gate decor/property solutionAsked to paint over papered walls with dark colors in a large 3 bed bungalow rental prior to them moving in.given a week.on arrival David had created a massive leak in the attic causing water ingress to seep through the ceilings. That’s 3 bed hall large lounge dining bathroom and half kitchen. That’s 6.5 room and a hall,that equates to less than 200 a room including high quality paint.Ended up spending a considerable amount of time prepping over old overlapped wall paper Cross lining and stripping was advised,but they did not have the time nor money to do a professional job,it was explained that one large lounge/dinning would cost between 800 to a 1000 to strip cross line and paint by any pro decorator or any person on minimum wage and take around 6 days Masking tape is not required around window frames with light base paint The walls were left painted to a consistent finish,with additional work done for free The bungalow was empty and I was given a key,David did not know when I was coming and going,was given a completion date,which was adeared to. Agreed to meet following day like any pro to check over job and get paid,if there was the odd touch up required and any issue then it would of been resolved quickly by touch up,in less than 10 mins,same time to count the money or transfer Was never given the opportunity,paid straight away Explained always happy to pop back if there was the odd touch up required No reason to leave such poor feed back,would not be in my interest Incidentally worked late into the night to get it finished over 7 days And had to stick back old wall paper and splice a load of overlapped paper and try and tackle water ingress coming through ceilings Still happy to pop back but never gave opportunity nor have I had a phone call,so clearly not much of an issue if any. I am clearly a good decorator,I could understand if he believed I was incompetent,but that clearly is not the case.
