Log Cabins / Timber Framed Building
They assembled and painted a log cabin from Dunster House. I noticed gaps on either side of the door which I pointed out and said I was very concerned about,but by then the roof was on. Paul was proud of his work saying they were very quick. He was laying the blame with Dunster House quality control .He was pushing me to say I was a million per cent happy which I certainly wasn’t. I told him I’d spent a sleepless night after their first days work, but they were merrily painting it at 8am on day 2. He patched up the gaps. I was left feeling that though they worked hard and were punctual they didn’t have the skills necessary for the job. Within a couple of weeks the roof shingles lifted in one corner. I had a local builder in who fixed them but pointed out all sorts of defects saying I should have told them to get off my property and shouldn’t have paid them. Since then the wall slats have begun to gape .. I’m at my wits end as to what to do next
