I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied by the service I received! His arrival was over an hour late from the time agreed on. Once he did arrive, he needed to empty out the water tank before starting the job. After the completion of the job, I noticed that there was no cold water running in the house at all. He took the full amount of money for the job and left to go to his next job. He told me that he will be back (since he still had siliconing left to do) and that I should wait for the water tank to fill back up and keep him updated about whether or not the cold water starts running again. When it got close to the evening and I hadn’t heard from him, I contacted him to informed him that the issue was ongoing and that I had reached out to Thames Water to make sure that this wasn’t something from their end. I was advised it wasn’t and that it is his responsibility to fix the issue. He responded to me saying “that’s strange” and that he had just arrived home, was going to grab his ladder and come over. Evidently, he lacks the experience he claims to have if that’s his response to something he caused. I explained that we could survive a few days without hot water if needs be but when it is the other way around where it’s the cold water that you don’t have, it’s much more urgent and has to be sorted out asap. Clearly, he doesn’t have any sympathy or care in the world at all. It got later and later into the night, I tried to reach him and even got my son to reach out to him by phone and by messaging and he’s just gone and completely ignored us. Only unreliable and unprofessional workers would do something like that. Seems to me that it’s just a sham business. I am now left to get someone to come and resolve the issue that he was paid to do, after being left with no cold water for a whole day and who knows how much longer it will take to resolve. I also have to do the redecorating separately after much of the bathroom has been removed to get to the pipe work and him not finishing the siliconing in the bathroom as he was supposed to. He only siliconed the bottom of the toilet seat which was terrible for a self-proclaimed “specialist plumber”. Had I done it myself, I would’ve done a better job. He left the sink without silicone and a huge open space behind the toilet seat where the rats come out from. The rats were the ones responsible for the leak and the holes in the pipe after chewing on it. I had to go and buy foam myself and figure out how I will close the area to avoid the rats from coming out or doing this again. Had he been professional, he’d have at least temporarily found a way to block it whilst someone comes out to do the redecoration and close it properly. He’s obviously just taken advantage of me being an old lady and putting my trust in him by paying him before he’s come back to complete the job. That was my fault for trusting in him and a really big lesson to be learnt! No care about customer satisfaction at all as claimed on his profile and I highly doubt that they’re insured as mentioned in someone else’s review. It’s all just words and I would certainly not recommend.

Michael was friendly, quick to resolve the issue, and respectful of my property, would definitely contact him again for future jobs!

Gives a price at first then changes it all after works done, charge very high price even when told no insurance in place, how detailed the invoice is does not match real life how it really is , anyway paid immediately as guy is very rude and rushed.
