Combi Boiler Pressure and Leak Repair
I hired SK Gas on March for a pressure and leak problem of boiler. After 3 visits and at least 3 missing appointment and £280 the problem still there after 6 months. He even did not bother to communicate properly. I had to chase him to come back to sort out the job and he always had some excuses. I am really disappointed and frustrated particularly when he refused to refund me my £280. So I am going to seek legal advice as now there is a wet wall as well as an unfixed boiler.
Skgas heating and plumbing limitedWe would like to clarify the facts regarding this review. We attended your property on four separate occasions. The first visit was an £80 call-out to inspect and diagnose the boiler. Following our inspection, the PRV and expansion vessel required replacement, and you agreed to pay £200 for this work. After this, we returned on two further occasions without charging you any additional labour or call-out fees. In total, our engineers travelled approximately 80 miles attending your property. This is an older boiler, and replacing two faulty components does not mean that other components cannot subsequently develop or contribute to a fault. Unfortunately, it is not reasonable to expect an older boiler to perform as though it were brand new simply because two parts have been replaced. We have made considerable efforts to assist you, including providing additional visits free of charge. However, you have now requested a full refund, which would effectively mean that two engineers attended your property four times, travelled approximately 80 miles, supplied parts and carried out work at no cost whatsoever. We are always willing to help our customers and investigate genuine problems, but we also expect our engineers' time, travel and work to be treated fairly. For these reasons, we do not believe that a full refund is reasonable or justified.

Urgent Gas Safety Check for Fire
We urgently needed a gas safety certificate so that we could have a hospital bed put in the living room for a relative. The engineer came out the same day I posted the job. He serviced our boiler, checked the gas fire and gas meter and gave me the safety certificate I needed. He was pleasant and courteous and left no mess. Would definitely recommend. Than you
