With over ten years experience of being a project manager I am also aware of local building regulations always happy to discuss any concerns you may have. Full Chimney Breast Removal
Things started well with their team showing up on site and getting to work taking out my chimney breast. Then things took a turn for the worst once a bit of payment was made. At the end of the first week they burst a pipe and did not have a plumber so i had to call one out and shut off the water. They also put a hole in my ceiling misstepping in my loft. In trying to make good of their work they used some of my units and floors as work stations and damaged the floor leaving cuts and chips in the wood and cement on units. They promised to fix this but did not. To finish off their terrible work they had to install a beam but cut our joists too wide so they would not reach the beam. This had left us needing to replace evey single joist and remove all the floors (which they broke instead if removing carefully). At this point they kept asking for more money claiming to be out of pocket with a load of excuses so i had to part ways. I wish i could give them credit for removing the stacks but they did not do this smoothly trying to avoid doing what my structural surveyor and other builders recommended. I also kept having to tell them to clean up after themselves. Even leaving bottles and food lying around. Lastly they left about 10 tonnes of bricks outside my property which they were supposed to remove via a grabber which never showed. I would not trust them to fix things but they definitely know how to rip things apart.
