Sebastian provided a quote of £1,700 for the full bathroom renovation initially when speaking Gave us a date of the 18th to start and estimated to be finished by the 22nd. However, didn’t turn up until 13:00 on the 22nd. Next day again didn’t turn up until after noon with zero communication. Drilled an ‘accidental’ hole in the ceiling, then denied doing it. Soldered pipes with no heat shield, burning holes in the boiler cupboard. As well as chucking cigarette butts under the floorboards and all over the house/garden and putting big gouges in freshly painted plasterboard. Following all this he said he would get here before noon the following day then didn’t turn up at all (again with no communication). The following day then blocked themselves in the bathroom by covering the door with a shower tray and were smoking inside the house. Spoke with them about the delays and incompetence and blatant disrespect in which he got quite defensive, and accused me of taking drugs and being paranoid (despite a lot of this being the on camera) and when leaving the house he flushed scraps of copper pipe and soldering flux down the toilet which we had to fish out to prevent a blockage. After these ‘days’ of work two people had managed to take an old shower out and remove half of the floorboards and fit copper piping Following this we made the decision to stop any more work being completed. Paid £970 for the minimal work he had completed, he was threatening to send debt collectors round until I pointed the camera out and let him know it was recorded. Ended up taking the loss but just wanted him out of the house. Awful experience all in all, incredibly unprofessional and rude, complete lack of respect. Could not recommend less.

Sebastian arrived very promptly and in good spirits. What should have been a 20 min job turned out to be a pain! We had to go to B&Q for some bits to get the tap working. 2 hours later we have a working tap. Thank you so much for your patience and without any negativity. I will definitely be asking you back for the other tap I need changing and for any future work. I will also recommend you to friends and family etc!

Sapphire construction company transformed our outdated toilet into a walk-in shower. Sebastian who was contracted to do the project, removed the outdated toilet, installing a medium walk-in shower with a sliding door glass, a new sink, toilet, tiled the floor and installed heating underneath the floor, lighting, plumbing, repaired some leakage issues on the toilet roof and electrical work to a newly installed boiler. He did an excellent job and exceeded my expectation, efficiently delivered what he promised. The project was quoted and completed within two weeks at quite a reasonable/affordable price as compared to exorbitant quotes from other contractors. The quality and finishing of the project were impeccable. The tile work is perfectly level, the grout lines are even, Sebastian introduced quite a new design which looks magnificent and the shower waterproofing was done meticulously. The plumbing is silent and works perfectly. Sebastian paid great attention to details, like aligning the tile pattern from the floor to the shower niche, connecting a pipe into another toilet upstairs. Sebastian was highly committed in delivering an excellent/exceptional job and communication was excellent. Sebastian was always punctual, respectful, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day and placed all rubbish into black bin bags. This was a significant investment for us, and it was worth every penny. Sebastian won himself another toilet project due to his excellent work and great customer service. The process was smooth, professional, and the result exceeds our expectations. We would definitely be using them again in our upcoming project. We highly recommend Sapphire construction company for any complex bathroom project and pricing quite reasonable/affordable.
