Repair Leak in Tiled Pitched Roof
The team came to assess a leak in the roof. I discovered after they left that they had ruptured a pipe in the loft while they went there to assess. Water was leaking through to the ground floor. I had to call an emergency plumber as this was out of hours. I offered the company to reimburse me for the plumber fees or to put this through their insurance. The team dragged their feet over text messages for over a week, refused to give me their company insurance details and made ridiculous requests like asking for a picture of the pipe before it was damaged. Eventually they stopped responding.I won't even comment on the quote beyond saying I asked for a repair on the roof and they insisted I just need to change the guttering. Untrustworthy trade. Engage them at your own risk.
