Bathroom Renovation: Shower and Sink Install
MyBuilder / MyJobQuote Review for RK Plumbing and Heating Derby After posting a job to remove a bath, install a low-level shower, and fit a vanity cabinet with sink, I received interest from several traders. I contacted Rooman Kheel from RK Plumbing and Heating and asked if he could visit to assess the work and provide a quote. Rooman responded promptly and arranged a site visit. During the visit he carefully assessed the job, clearly explained the work required, and highlighted that the gas pipe hidden under the bath would need to be safely redirected. I appreciated how informative and transparent he was, taking the time to explain everything in detail so I fully understood what needed to be done. His quote was competitive and very reasonable when compared with other traders. Importantly, Rooman also provided helpful advice on alternative installation options and pointed out areas where he would need to rectify shortcuts taken by a previous bathroom installer. Throughout the project I found Rooman to be polite, professional, reliable, and very easy to communicate with. He kept me informed of progress at each stage and demonstrated excellent customer care by regularly checking that I was happy with the work as it progressed. The quality of workmanship is outstanding. Rooman clearly takes great pride in his work and maintains a very high standard. Although he is a plumber by trade, he also coordinates a team of trusted specialists including an electrician, Gas Safe engineer, and carpenter, ensuring the entire job is completed professionally. Having previously used another bathroom fitter, I can confidently say that Rooman’s attention to detail and overall finish is significantly better. When the installation was completed, he ensured everything was thoroughly cleaned and tidy before leaving and carried out a final inspection with us to make sure we were completely satisfied. I am extremely pleased that I chose RK Plumbing and Heating Derby. Rooman delivered excellent service, high-quality workmanship, and great customer service from start to finish.
