Prepare Base for 8x10 Shed
Poor workmanship and disappointing experience I hired Sunny after he contacted me via an add to install a shed base for my elderly parents. I chose him because of his good reviews and ratings, which gave me confidence in his work. The job was due to start at 9:30am, but after asking to start earlier, Sunny arrived nearly two hours later. He dropped off tools and materials, then left several times for hours at a time, leaving another man and his young son to build the frame. Only returning around 3pm to actually start the job. I requested a 10ft x 8ft base, but when I measured the frame it was only around 6.5ft x 7ft and was also uneven. I raised this issue and was told it would be corrected, but when the job was declared complete, it was still the wrong size, wonky and not level. Sunny promised to return on Sunday to fix the problems but did not turn up and has ignored my messages. I also have concerns that the base was not prepared correctly, as no digging down or hardcore foundation was used. I have since been advised this could lead to movement and cracking in the future. Sunny charged my elderly retired parents for a job that was left unfinished and below the standard expected. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend his services
