Repair Recessed Manhole and Replace LVT
I hired this tradesperson to repair a small section of my click LVT flooring, but he started the job, admitted he couldn’t complete it, and then disappeared - leaving my flooring dismantled and unfinished. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience genuinely warrants one. I had installed click LVT flooring and needed a small section repaired. He assured me he could complete the work. After arriving, he immediately began removing and dismantling sections of my click LVT flooring. Part way through the job, he admitted that he couldn’t carry out the repair and apologised. He then told me he was going to bring his uncle, Steven, who he claimed had over 50 years of experience in the trade, to help finish the work. I trusted him, especially as he had spoken about how he’d seen other builders leave customers with poor workmanship and said he didn’t operate that way. He left my property saying he would be back in touch shortly. Instead, he completely disappeared. He stopped responding and never returned, leaving my flooring ripped up and the job unfinished. Even blocked my number As a result, I’m now left having to find another tradesperson and pay to rectify the damage and complete the work, all because he walked away after starting the job. I would strongly recommend avoiding this tradesperson. My experience was extremely disappointing and has left me significantly out of pocket and dealing with unnecessary disruption.
