Redwood Carpentry and Building is a reputable local business that has been operating since 2017. The company was founded by Nik Miller, an experienced carpenter and builder who has worked on numerous projects throughout the county, including Hampton Secondary school, Kier Offices in Tempsford, and various large housing projects in Peterborough and surrounding areas. Over the years, Nik has acquired a diverse range of skills and disciplines in the building trade, enabling him to provide a premium service with high-quality finishes.
Since the company's inception, Nik has established a fully functional joinery workshop and has been involved in a range of exciting projects. Notably, he was headhunted to manage and construct a £60 million project in Alconbury Weald for the Dutch Construction Giant, Vrolijk BV, where he spearheaded a team of over 10 employees and played a pivotal role in the senior management team. The successful completion of this project led Nik to work on other Dutch-run projects in the UK, consolidating his reputation as a reliable and skilled builder.
In response to the Brexit result, Nik decided to focus exclusively on Redwood Carpentry and Building, his first passion and love, where he has continued to establish and maintain strong customer relationships. His high standards and exceptional workmanship have earned Redwood an excellent reputation.
With extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of the building industry, Nik and his team provide full project management, design, planning, and comprehensive support to exceed your expectations. They offer a range of carpentry and joinery services, including loft conversions, garage conversions, doors, stairs, and balustrades, bespoke wardrobes, and tailored furniture. Additionally, they provide services such as tiling, painting, and decorating. At Redwood Carpentry and Building, they believe that if you can dream it, we can build it!

Nik came out that day to plaster our wall. We found his quote more than reasonable, and so far as it dries the work looks professional. He cleaned up after himself, was politely and worked without that standing around many tradesmen are given to. I would recommended him

I would highly recommend Redwood. Nik's communication was excellent throughtout, from the initial quoting to through completing the job. Polite, friendly, professional, always showed up when expected, and left everything very clean and tidy. Very honest and hard-working chap (I think my loft-hatch move possibly presented unforeseen challenges, requiring extra time to complete, and he did a cracking job that I'm very happy with.)

From start to finish, the experience with Nik at Redwood has been excellent. Nik is brilliant with communicating, informing me of any updates regarding the work and informing me of when he is due arrive. Nik is polite, punctual and a very clean trades person. Nik has carried out building our stud wall to the highest standards and the finish is 10/10. I would highly recommend Nik for any carpentry or plastering jobs and will be using Redwood for any future home improvements that we carry out. Niks work is competitively priced. Cannot fault the work what so ever, would highly recommend.
