Simon Foy (of R & F Building) failed to show up. The 1st time, giving no notice, just an excuse that he had “family matters” to attend to. The 2nd time, ditto: no notice, said he wouldn't be able to because he didn’t have his co-worker with him. I’d spent both previous evenings preparing the living room for the dusty work. I’m disabled and this had taken me a good few hours. I offered him the option of a 3rd appointment, starting at 9 on Monday. He texted at 9 and said he couldn’t make it til 11.00. Totally unreliable. He’d also over-priced the job massively. I soon found an alternative builder who priced it at half of Simon’s quote Do not use this bloke.
