AVOID at all costs. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a tradesperson. I trusted Kevin with my home, supplied every single material and paid him over £1,100 in good faith. In return I was left with unfinished work, damaged materials and workmanship that now needs to be corrected by another carpenter. The laminate was left with hardened adhesive on it, floors squeak, skirting boards have poorly cut joints, chipped mitres and visible gaps, and several materials were damaged during the installation. Instead of completing the work, I spent my time finding faults and buying replacement materials. Communication was extremely poor. There were repeated delays and missed days. To make matters worse, after telling me he would be at my house at 8am to continue the job, he simply didn't turn up and didn't have the courtesy to send a message or reply. I have now been forced to find another carpenter to finish the work and rectify the defects, costing me even more time, money and stress. This was an incredibly disappointing and upsetting experience, and I would never use this carpenter again.
