Darren serviced my boiler and diagnosed the need for further work. When he asked, I paid him £157 for additional parts but I have not seen him since then, despite his numerous promises to carry out the work. He made repeated excuses over the next five or six weeks, saying he had been away, that he had Covid or that his van had broken down. I have clearly been scammed and don't rule out taking action in the small claims court.

Radiator repair
'Darren came to my house before Christmas and said that he would do the following job: *"Drain down central heating flush out, install magneticfilter fill system, add a cleaner to system, vent allradiators, check heating and hot water working."* He said that it would be a total of £550 I agreed to it. However, after being at my house for just over an hour, he said he would need to come back after Christmas to do the rest of the job, but he asked me to pay the full amount. I trusted him and I paid the invoice whilst he was there. However Darren has not been back despite many phone calls and text messages from me. The job remains unfinished, with black water coming out of my radiators and leaking radiators. He took all the money and disappeared.'

Radiator
I was very impressed with the engineer and the service he provided. The job (radiator replacement) was posted in the morning and I was contacted within the 30 minutes. I provided size details and the job was quickly priced up and agreed. The job was completed in the afternoon and the engineer was very competent, helpful and respectful throughout. Online payment was not required until I was I was fully satisfied with the work carried out. (5 stars)
