Slate & Tiled Roof
I wouldn't recommend using PJ Roofing for any work. They consistently turned up late and disappeared often, John didn't supervise his team as he'd said he would, they ruined my kitchen ceiling by putting a massive hole through it and leaving just a thin sheet covering the open air hole overnight without telling me (in the week when it snowed), they started fiddling round with my neighbour's roof and now he has a leak that has to be fixed, the least competent guy working was constantly left alone and was totally inappropriate while onsite, I was told I could choose my tiles but then they just fitted cheap red tiles in a black roof tiled neighbourhood without checking with me first so my roof now looks unattractive, I had to insist on them tidying up after themselves when they left my garden in a mess, it was so hard to get the guarantee on the work from John. There was a whole list of calamities and it was a stressful experience I wouldn't wish on anyone for a price that wasn't worth it. I really hope I never have to deal with them again (and I've told John this) but I guess it'll depend on how well the roof holds up over time.

Refused to give written quotation for the work despite being asked 4 times. He was all for just arriving and doing the job or so he said.

Roof Repair
Quickly identified what was causing the leak and what needed to be done. Been the time of year it was they prioritised the work and completed it just before the heavy rains and snow. No hesitation in recommending the or getting them back to do further work.

Guttering and Rainwater Pipe
John was very professional. Experienced and knowledgeable about the cause of the problem and was able to rectify it straightaway. In addition he made sure that in future this type of problem wouldn’t occur by installing a new connection that kept is secure. I was very impressed with his teams work.
