Several weeks after completing the job of repointing the ridge tiles of my roof PHS Roofing Services Ltd offered on the 21 May to replace the guttering under the eaves of my semi -detached house for which I paid £900. Bearing in mind that in undertaking further work I was assured by the company's website which says all work is 'guaranteed'. On Sunday 24 May, directly following the installation of the guttering our TV ariel was not functioning, there was no signal! I messaged the company about it. One of the garden wall lights was also not working. Four days later on Thursday 28 May, following heavy rain I noticed the guttering at the front corner of the house was leaking. The company owner came out to try to fix the leaking joint, in the process removing pieces of rubble from the new guttering and found the seal had been flipped out from the joint. He re sited the seal. He repositioned the ariel to its usual position, which continued not to work. He said he would cover the cost of the ariel work. The engineer who came out later on Saturday 30 May charged me £144. The company PHS Roofing Services Ltd have made no effort to pay this. I had raised the issue of his employee's mess, and careless work, spilling paint and mortar onto lights , windows and solar panels with him. He advised me to inform him straight away if the joint he had repaired continued to leak. The joint did continue to leak, I informed him on 1 June, He said as soon as he was free he would pop out. On Wednesday 3 June I told him that the connections with my neighbours guttering were leaking and that they were very concerned. He gave a vague response saying he would come out when he was free. On Friday 5 June I messaged him that the connecting joint with my neighbour at the back was running like a tap and that I had taken a picture of it. He said he would book me in and contact me on Monday 8 June. He did not contact me. In fact, I had to message him that my neighbour had complained that the joint at the front of the house was leaking! He has not responded to this or an email sent to the company outlining these issues. I expected to be advised about the specific date by which PHS Roofing Services Ltd will remedy the 3 faulty guttering connections. The payment I made to the engineer for the ariel is still outstanding. The silence after hearing the number of faults reported to him is telling. I would certainly not recommend him

I hired PHS Roofing to carry out several jobs, including installing a dry ridge system on all sides, repointing the ridge tiles, reattaching a loose dry ridge on the lower roof, cleaning the gutters, and taking care of a few smaller issues that came up during the day. Overall, I’m very happy with the work. Everything was completed to a good standard, and they were thorough in making sure even the small details were addressed. Communication was excellent throughout — they were easy to get hold of and took the time to clearly explain what needed doing and why. Reliable, professional, and straightforward to deal with. I’d definitely recommend.

Paul did a fantastic job on our garage, fitting new fascia boards, eaves guards and guttering. He never upsells anything and is able work within your budget.
