James arrived at appointed time and sent quote by email, detailing everything we discussed and itemising each item. We arranged a start day and time. James was ontime every day. I was very impressed when he arrived as the first thing he did was get a heavy duty bin bag ready for the rubbish. He was very professional in his work and ethics and only stopped once at lunch time for a cuppa. At the end of each day he tidied up and left the room usable. The results were a total transformation and I smile every time I go into it. I found out during our chats that James is a Army Veteran just like myself and after leaving the army he struggled just like I to settle down. I have no hesitation in recommending this man to do work in your home. He will tell you straight what he can and can't do, is honest and very reliable. We have just been quoted for our hall to be done by James. He doesn't rip you off and you pay on completion off the job. Well done James it was a pleasure having in our home.

Floor Tiling

Flat Pack Furniture Assembly
Excellent carpenter who discussed plans upfront and kept me informed of progress. James is friendly and completely reliable. I purchased the materials agreed with James and paid him for his labour and expertise. I am very happy with the result. Definitely recommend James to anyone looking for a trusted and reliable tradesman.

Laminate Flooring
Agreed a good price, however work was not carried out to a good standard. Agreed to come back & re-do work that was done to a poor standard. However, it's been two months now & no sign of him turning up for poor job initially done. My advise is pay a bit more for a better standard of finish & never pay until you are absolutely happy with everything.

Perksy Home InprovementsThe sub floor by your door was not flat with rest of hall and lounge where customer had different heights in subfloors . Customer wanted price to just fit flooring took no advice on sub floors and thinks is £120 fitting charge of which only £100 was paid. should include levelling is floor after laying the floor I think not my prices are good and a good job could of been completed if the customer had worked with me instead of taking £20 of is bill and then expecting me to come back and fix the problem at no extra cost. I’m not an idiot and don’t work for nothing and don’t supply for nothing sorry you not happy but don’t work for free and all my other customers seem to be ok with my work.
